Delivery of the first Befoil 16 flying boat to the Centre Nautique Fouesnant Cornouaille!

Befoil has just delivered the first Befoil 16 to the Centre Nautique Fouesnant Cornouaille on Monday 27th May.
After 2 years of work, Befoil is delighted to release its first series of hydrofoil catamarans to allow the greatest number of people to sail on a flying boat. It has been designed to be a stable, simple and accessible support!

From the first flights to an autonomous navigation, in a classic navigation area or in raid, Befoil 16 allows to adapt to the navigation project and to the level of each one.

Befoil is a Breton company located in Lorient. Befoil 16 is a 16 feet hydrofoil catamaran designed by VPLP especially for sailing schools and beginners, made from recyclable materials, the hulls are made of polyethylene, and the rudders and foils are made of aluminum. The manufacturing is 100% French!

From the beginning of the design, the challenge for the team was to propose a double catamaran, flying, the most accessible technically and financially. The challenge was met! The boat is sold at 19 990 € ready to sail.

Benjamin Magnard, president of Befoil, says: “This is a new era for Befoil and we are very proud and happy to share it with the Centre Nautique Fouesnant Cornouaille, which has chosen, as we have, to be forerunners in the democratization of foils. All the more happy that in the coming days, other clubs, such as UDSIS St Cyprien and the Base Nautique de Savel Monteynard will also offer to take off with ease on board the Befoil 16. ”

The Centre Nautique Fouesnant Cornouaille is the first sailing club to have a Befoil 16.
Come and experience your first flights from 35,90 € the first flight.

Nicolas Trebern, base manager of CN Fouesnant Cornouaille adds: “We received our Befoil 16 on Monday, May 27. This Befoil, the first Befoil delivered was eagerly awaited by the supervisors of the Nautical Center Fouesnant Cornouaille and by our practitioners.
The CNFC wanted to be able to offer foil sailing on an accessible catamaran as soon as possible.

After a simple set up in the morning, the afternoon was a beautiful sailing under the sun with a north-west wind increasing from 8 to 15 knots at the end of the day. Befoil 16 gave us great sensations as soon as the wind reached 15 knots, including a nice flight towards Concarneau which left Cédric and Charles from Befoil, on board our general safety.
In summary, a simple and robust boat in its design, and especially accessible to the greatest number, which will allow us to make discover the pleasure of the navigation with foil, in baptism and private lessons from this summer.
We thank all the team of Befoil thanks to whom we could become again happy trainees the time of an afternoon!

See you at the CNFC, Cap Coz beach, to discover the flight on befoil. “
